Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Firmware Manager to lead our firmware development team in the power electronics domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in firmware engineering for power converters and protection applications, coupled with proven leadership abilities. As a Firmware Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire firmware development lifecycle, managing technical teams, defining strategic directions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable firmware solutions for our power electronic systems.

Responsibilities:


Team Leadership and Management

Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers working on power electronic converters, protection applications.
Define roles and responsibilities, set performance objectives, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative team environment, promote knowledge sharing, and drive professional development within the team.

Technical Strategy and Planning

Develop and execute the firmware technology roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends.
Define architectural frameworks and design standards for firmware solutions in power electronics.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability.


Technical Expertise and Guidance

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on complex firmware challenges in power electronics.
Review and approve critical design decisions, control algorithms, and code implementations.
Contribute to the resolution of high-level technical issues and debugging of complex system problems.




Quality and Compliance

Ensure firmware designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality guidelines.
Implement and maintain best practices in firmware development, coding standards, and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.


Qualifications:
Education

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. is a plus.

Experience

15 years of experience in firmware development for power electronic systems, including UPS, converters, or microgrid applications.
8 years of proven experience in managing firmware development teams.
Strong background in embedded systems, control algorithms, and power electronics.

Soft Skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management abilities, with experience in Agile development methodologies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
