We are looking for a new colleague in the SCM Dept. at our location in Guangzhou. Your tasks: ● Close communication with supplier for demand forecast and supplier’s capacity, make action when facing shortage. ● Drive material stock up and purchase order management, by using error- proofing methods to ensure no order is missing and meet delivery in time goal ● Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Manufacturing team, to align supply chain activities with business objectives. ● Develop and implement supply chain planning processes that align with organizational goals, including new tools, data visualization, and system enhancements. Analyze historical data, sales trends, and market dynamics to forecast product and material demand accurately. ● Negotiate and follow up with suppliers on lead-time of delivery and freight to control inventory. Optimize inventory turnover while maintaining high service levels. ● Keep supply and demand balance, expedite urgent orders when facing spike demand and reschedule orders to keep lower inventory. ● Organize supplier-management and bottle-neck-planning with other functions e.g. plant-teams, sales-team, supplier Your profile: ● Bachelor degree or similar education or equivalent professional experience. ● Min. of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain or material planning, inventory management, or procurement, preferably in a trading environment. ● Good communication and problem-solving skills. ● Experience in the auto industry is preferred.
