We are searching for an Application Engineer for our Division of Industrial Technology in Beijing, China.

Your Tasks:

• Support Sales and Application departments on technical support to local OEMs.
• Design new products and applications with the support of CAD and PLM systems, delivering technical documents such as 3D models, 2D drawings, BoM, and other related documents.
• Support localization of gear products in compliance with Chinese regulations.
• Cooperate with the materials management department to select suitable local suppliers and realize successful component localization.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments in China and Germany for necessary support.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus but not a must.
• Around 2 years of gearbox design and related power train product development experience is preferred. Familiar with design software and gear calculation tools (Creo/ProE, AutoCad etc.). Familiar with PDM systems like Windchill is preferred.
• Be creative and interested in technical works. Has teamwork spirit.
• Could organize independent visits to suppliers’ and customers' sides to resolve technical issues.
